Seeking a seasoned, highly motivated and customer service driven Maintenance Supervisor for apartment community located in Green Point section of Brooklyn, NY. Must be an independent superior leader/manager, with strong communication, training, organization and customer service skills. Qualified candidates will have a team player mentality and be able to partner with the Property Manager on all maintenance budgetary issues including the monitoring of maintenance costs vs. budget, status/updates on all maintenance issues and tasks/programs, as well as retention, staff and employee relation items. Responsible for managing/monitoring maintenance vendors, organizing/prioritizing maintenance tasks including work orders, repairs, and capital improvements, as well as supervising/participating in all aspects of the preventative maintenance program, all snow removal efforts, as well as the on-call emergency request function (24/7 availability is a must), Job requirements include experience with HVAC, boilers, plumbing, and general maintenance of a property, HVAC certificate /boiler license a plus. 24/7 availability for emergencies, reliable transportation as well as basic computer skills.
